Anita contacted me last minute for an engagement session before heading back to India to prepare for her wedding before November and I had only two available days. On the day of the session, the weather wasn’t looking great in the morning and we checked the forecast – raining so at the end we decided to postpone it. However, that day turned out not to be so bad! Then, next week came and similar situation….very gloomy in the morning but with the sun peeked out occasionally. We checked the forecast and it said will be cloudy and the chance of rain was low. As soon as Anita and Hitesh parked their car, it started to rain!!! We waited till the rain stopped and they walked over to meet us; Anita was dressed in a white and black gown and great choice that the dress material was like waterproof. We started shooting and luckily there was still foliage around for the beautiful Boston fall looks 🙂 We walked over to Commonwealth Ave for some photos before Anita changing into her second outfit. Then, we walked to the Beacon Hill area for the colonial buildings as backdrops; another Boston iconic location. Lastly, we drove to the seaport area for night portraits, it was so cold so I tried to make it quick. One thing that I liked about night portraits in the fall season is early sunset, not freezingly cold yet, and almost empty so no need to wait for people to move or walk away. I just heard back from Anita that her friends and family in both the US and India loved their photos, it was so great to hear customers appreciating our works!!! Have a great wedding Anita and Hitesh!!!
