I have heard about the sunflower fields up in Colby Farm, NH for few years now from friends and I always wanted to check it out. When Le reached out to me on having an engagement session in mid-September, I told her about the sunflower fields and if luck has it, the sunflowers might be in bloom. We were hoping for the best and during my vacation in Portugal in early September, I read that the sunflowers were in full bloom, I was like awww we missed it by a week! We still went up praying that there’ll be some sunflowers left and it did! Although extremely crowded, we managed to have a few seconds of almost people-free. After the sunflower fields, we drove to Salisbury Beach for quick photos and headed back to Boston to make it for the “blue hour” at Paul Revere Park with the beautiful Zakim Bridge lit up in pink! Even though there was a lot of transporting around and tight on time, Le and Jimmy managed to change into 3 different outfits, well prepared! Futhermore, Jimmy is Lisa’s brother whom I photographed Lisa and Kirkland’s wedding few months ago 🙂
Doesn’t seem like a wedding shoot. More like a casual shoot. But beautiful pictures nonetheless.
It was an engagement as indicated by the title 🙂
